1. Complete Form to the Right

Once you hit “SEND” our expert team will be notified that your unit is on its way.

You will also receive a copy of the completed form to the email address entered. This form needs to be printed and included in the unit shipment to PDS for our reference to match the spindle to the request. In the event of a warranty spindle repair, please call the service department @ 704-922-1206 to receive a Return Material Authorization number (RMA#).


2. Emergency Repairs

If you need an emergency repair, it is imperative you call us before you ship your tool so we can evaluate our repair schedule. PDS will confirm your Emergency Repair Service request after the tool has been received and inspected by PDS.

Emergency repair service requires allocation of technicians and resources in advance. Emergency spindle repair requests are placed ahead of normal repairs upon receipt. Expedite fees will apply regardless of unforeseen circumstances preventing a scheduled delivery.


3. Ship Unit to PDS

Package unit carefully and ship pre-paid to the location nearest you. Don’t forget to include the copy of the completed Repair Form that was emailed to you. Local customers from NC, SC, VA, WV, KY, GA, TN and AL can save on shipping and receive professional spindle repair service by delivering their spindles directly to our North Carolina plant for repair.

4. Inspection and Evaluation

Within 24 hours of receipt, your unit will be inspected and evaluated for a fee of up to $1,000 (see Terms pdf - if the unit is repaired or replaced, this fee is waived). Customer has 30 days from PDS evaluation to make a decision to repair or replace damaged units. After 30 days of no response from customer, the unit becomes property of PDS.


5. Repair and Return

Repairs are completed on site by our experts at PDS. Final assembly, balance and run-in are completed in our clean room. Return shipping is handled by UPS unless another preference is noted on repair form. Upon customer approval of quotation, we typically ship repaired spindle within 3-5 business days. Repaired units are warrantied for 12 months from shipment date.
